All bookings require a non-refundable £50 deposit. Consultation costs are £50 redeemable against future bookings. If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice your deposit will be lost and a further £50 required before you’re able to rebook. Appointment dates and times may be amended outside of the 48 hour window. Strictly enforced with no exceptions.  

In cases where a payment has been made upfront for a course of 6, the 48 hours notice still applies and any cancellations or amendments will result in losing a session. 

 We operate a strict lateness policy. Whilst we will try our best to accommodate if you are running late, unfortunately for some treatments anything more than 10 minutes will mean appointment will not go ahead. This is in cases where a “reduced time treatment” is not possible as safety would be compromised i.e aesthetic treatments.

For treatments such as massage where reduced time can be applied, we will try our best to accommodate. This is to ensure all clients and patients are receiving the best service. We are often back to back, so lateness has a knock on effect for the next person.

If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can assist you as best we can. Please note that the appointment deposit will be charged should we need to cancel due to lateness.

No shows will lose any deposits paid, or a session if a course has been purchased, and will need to pay a £10 rebooking fee. If a no shows occurs 3 times you will be permanently blocked from booking.

 If you do wish to bring someone along, we welcome a +1 in our waiting area, however they will not be allowed to accompany you in the treatment room during your treatment. Due to the nature of the clinic we are unable to accommodate children under 16. This is due to health & safety, as well as courtesy to other patients. Unfortunately if this is ignored and children are in attendance, your appointment will be cancelled and you will still be charged. 

 It is vital that you follow all advised pre and post treatment advice. Following our guidance will ensure you get the absolute most out of your treatment, as well as ensuring your safety and comfort are protected. If there are any changes to lifestyle or medication between sessions, you must make your practitioner aware. For all laser treatments, you must ensure you are NOT tanned (sun tan or artificial) for treatment and avoid the sun for the course of treatment. If you arrive to an appointment with a tan, your appointment will be cancelled and you will still be charged. This is for your own safety as well as the effectiveness of the treatment. For aesthetic treatments, any alcohol consumption within 48 hours prior will result in your appointment being cancelled and you will still be charged. 

 Payments are to be made via cash, bank transfer, or card either in full before treatment or before leaving the premises. 

Packages and discounted courses must be paid upfront on your first session unless otherwise discussed. Gift vouchers, where applicable, are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 

Discount codes cannot be combined with any other offers.

 At SkinCertain, client safety is our highest priority. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at our professional discretion if we believe it is unsafe, medically unsuitable, if a required patch test has not been completed, if medical information has not been disclosed, or if a client’s behaviour is abusive, threatening, or inappropriate. This policy is in place to protect the wellbeing of both our clients and our team.
